And he then scored his first Rams try in the 73-24 demolition of Dings Crusaders.
A second arrived the following week at Sale, before Willo missed his only game of the campaign at home to Tonbridge Juddians.

Ironically after a three-month wait for his next score, it came in another magnificent display as Rams overturned a 28-7 half-time deficit to defeat TJs 35-33.
The back row’s effort saw him named National One Player of the Week.
A fourth try came in defeat at Birmingham Moseley, with another in the home loss to Bishop’s Stortford in February.
The Oxford Brookes University alumni grabbed the opening score at Plymouth Albion, and with Max Hayman injured, took over captaincy duties for the final four games.

Four tries in four as skipper
He enjoyed a dream start with another try-scoring effort in the 71-38 success versus Leicester Lions.
And after a couple of tough weeks against Rotherham Titans and Rosslyn Park, he signed the season off in style with a maiden treble at home to to Sedgley.
It meant Willo ended the campaign with 10 tries in 25 appearances and the highest respect among his peers.
Forwards dominated the vote with Ryan Lomas taking the runners-up slot.
The Irishman enjoyed his best campaign at Old Bath Road and reached a half-century of caps in the final game of the campaign.

He crossed the whitewash twice in 23 outings.
The bronze medal went to abrasive second/back row Harry Stone, who dotted down six times and also only missed one match.
*Congratulations Willo on a richly-deserved award, and well done to Ryan and Harry as well!
