The hosts made a fast start as Axel Kalling-Smith made a trademark 50-metre break before his grubber kick just ran into touch on the five-metre line.
The same happened soon after as Zach Clow’s nudge was batted behind the goal-line, but Rams opened the scoring as Max Marshall burrowed over from close range.
It was a maiden try for the first-time starter, and Mike Cooke knocked over the extras.
The home pack were well on top at the scrum, and captain Willo Bicknell powered over from the base for a second seven-pointer on eight minutes.
Morgan MacRae was then only denied after being deemed to have put a foot in touch, but Rams then scored a beauty.
MacRae and Harry Stone made the initial dents with two strong carries and fine off-loads, the excellent Ellis Jones then sending Andrew Lamb under the posts.
Visitors land quick-fire double
But Tigers roared back.
Firstly, they claimed the restart and went through the phases for Josh Ree to dot down, the fly-half adding to his own score.
And soon after a Beltus Nonleh surge allowed Jacob Tansey to cross, Ree cutting the gap to 21-14.
The ebb-and-flow nature of the contest continued as the retiring Connor Stapley was just unable to hang onto a ball on the right.
But Rams grabbed their bonus-point on 25 minutes, Bicknell doubling up after a lovely Jones off-load.

And it was 35-14 at the break as Ed Hoadley’s break sent Lamb over for his second, Cooke making it five from five off the tee.
A powerful Sedgley maul had been stopped just before the interval, but they took first blood in the second half as Ree glided over.
The game was then well and truly alive as Tom Hesketh went over for the visitors’ bonus-point try.
Marshall and Adam Mallinson exchanged maul tries in quick succession, Ree’s 100 per cent record maintained as the deficit was cut to five.
Rams regained control with another quick-fire brace, however.
Clow danced over in Clubhouse Corner after Park failed to claim the restart, man-of-the-match Bicknell then smashing his way over for his first Rams hat-trick.

Tigers refused to lie down, though, and Rhys Henderson cut the gap to 54-10 midway through the final quarter.
Rams, however, were not to be denied, Aaron Tull crossing the whitewash before Cooke tooke his personal tally to 16 points.
Seb Reynolds’ side end the season in seventh, while relegated Sedgley were 13th.
