Clifton have lost their past three games at Rotherham Titans (54-0), home to Leeds Tykes (34-19) and on the road at Sale FC (57-0).

The Bristolians started 2026 with a crucial 24-10 home triumph versus Sedgley Park, having lost their previous three games against Plymouth Albion (35-10), Birmingham Moseley (38-7) and Tonbridge Juddians (28-12).

Before that Clifton enjoyed a four-match winning run as they downed Dings Crusaders (35-24), Rosslyn Park (37-29), Leicester Lions (29-26) and Bishop’s Stortford (55-29).

Rams edged out the hosts 21-14 in Week Seven, Clifton winning 27-24 seven days earlier at Leeds.

Their loss-win run previously saw a 24-17 reverse to Sale on the back of a first victory of the campaign, 41-30 at Sedgley Park.

The Station Road were given a baptism of fire at National One in the early part of the season, going down to the current top three.

They lost 40-15 at home to Rotherham, 62-5 at Plymouth Albion and 34-17 versus Blackheath.

Players to Watch:

Tom Anderson – Hooker leads the try-scoring charts with eight to his name this term, including a three-match run of doubles against Bishop’s Stortford, Leicester Lions and former club Dings Crusaders.

Mitchell Spencer – Long-serving scrum-half has more than 230 appearances for Clifton including 14 this term.

Missed the Rams game, though has fond personal memories of his previous trip to OBR when he bagged a brace in December 2018.

Also doubled up against the Berkshire boys at Station Road in the previous season.

Will Owen – Inside centre spent more than a decade in The Championship at clubs including Birmingham Moseley, Rotherham Titans, Doncaster Knights and hometown side Coventry before moving to Station Lane post-Covid.
