Recent Form:

Resurgent Moseley have found form with just one defeat in their past five games.

A 27-27 draw at home to Tonbridge Juddians last time out followed a 25-17 reverse at Dings Crusaders, but they ended 2025 with a trio of bonus-point wins versus Leicester Lions (28-17), Clifton (38-7) and Leeds Tykes (42-17).

Narrow defeats to Sale FC (15-13) and Sedgley Park (28-17) came off the back of reverses against the top two, Rotherham Titans (33-15) and Plymouth Albion (36-21).

But before that they downed current third-placers Blackheath 32-17 at Billesley Common.

Rams edged out the Midlanders 31-28 in Round Six.

Prior to that Moseley had a tough start to the campaign, losing to TJs (31-17), Dings (34-19) and Rosslyn (47-24) while beating Leicester 49-21 and going down to Bishop’s Stortford 26-12 in their opening game.

Players to Watch:

Ben Pogson – Former Wasps Academy hooker enjoyed both Premiership Rugby Cup and Championship action for Ampthill before joining Moseley ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Scored six tries in 22 appearances during his debut campaign and has backed it up with seven in 15 outings this term, including home doubles against Blackheath and Clifton.

Morgan Dawes – Flanker is in his second spell with the Midlanders having earned a move to Championship move to London Scottish following a breakthrough pre-Covid campaign in which he scored five times for Moseley.

A serious knee injury robbed the open-side of two years of his career but he has come back firing, dotting down six times in 18 appearances last term.

An almost ever-present this season (14 caps) passing 50 for the club, Dawes has upped his try-scoring efforts with eight, including one at Old Bath Road.

Tommy Taylor – Fly-half tops the Moseley point-scorers this term with 51 (one try, 14 conversions, six penalties) in 11 matches.

Loughborough University graduate totted up 99 for Birmingham last term with five tries, 34 conversions and two three-pointers while only missing one game.
