Rotherham keep the pressure on at Stortford
Lloyd Hayes claimed 15 points to help second-placed Rotherham Titans beat hosts Bishop’s Stortford 35-27.
The centre kicked a penalty, converted his own try and then landed another three-pointer before Chris Bolton added to a stunning Harrison Langworthy solo score for 13-7.
Hayes and Bolton then exchanged penalties before the former was on target following a Harry Gilson-Fox score, Titans 23-10 up at the interval.
Bishop’s made it a one-point game as Ollie Jones and Jack Biard went over, Bolton converting the latter.
Roth wing Jackson Barling went over before Isaac Bell responded for the hosts, but a converted Morgan Veness effort sealed the deal for the Yorkshiremen.

Rosslyn and Sale stay in the hunt
Rosslyn Park returned to winning ways with a brilliant 36-19 home triumph over third-placed Blackheath.
Sam Morley added to a Billy Harding try to put Club before Park levelled through Tom Stanton and Bill Johnston.
The latter then repeated the trick after Cameron King dotted down, a penalty giving Rosslyn a 17-7 half-time lead.
The hosts moved further clear via a Jack Digby seven-pointer, but Blackheath rallied with Harding’s second and one from Finn Osborne, Morley on target following the latter.
But that was as good as it got for the visitors, Rosslyn finishing things with further scores from Charlie Piper and Joe Luca Smith, Johnston adding a final two points from the tee.
