Despite sitting in 11th place, the Midlanders have enjoyed a big upturn in form since the start of December, racking up three wins, one loss and a draw against Tonbridge Juddians last Saturday.
With Moseley possessing one of the biggest packs in the league and with the pitch likely to be heavy after weeks of rain, Seb said: “Birmingham are always a huge challenge.
“We’ve had wins – a last-minute one the first time we went there – but then we’ve lost the last two away.
“They’ve always had quality and while their league position isn’t where they’d want to be, we’ve seen what they’ve got when reviewing them and it’s going to be a tough game.”
He continued: “At this time of year, possession and territory is key to being successful.
“Everyone knows the kind of rugby we want to put out there, and we’ll be trying to do that, but also you have to be pragmatic at times and understand the conditions you’re playing in.”
Rams name unchanged squad
For just the second time in 146 games Rams names the same matchday 20 following the 34-24 victory against Leeds Tykes.
And Seb continued: “It’s nice. A couple of the lads took knocks in the week but have recovered well – the idea of the unchanged squad isn’t something I think about. But then it creeps up!
“Generally there’s changes, rotations – and I think over the years we’ve been good at that – but this weekend after last week and where we’re at as a side, it just feels right.
“It’s another huge test for our young guys, how they manage things.

“We might have to adjust (to conditions), but I back our lads to feel the moment and understand what we want to do.
“And they’ve also got some great experience around them.
“Ant Marris was superb last week, Ed (Hoadley) at No. 9 was amazing, he brings a tactical nous and is so good for the group.”

Beyond Birmingham’s quality, Billesley Common’s vociferous crowd will prove another challenge to the inexperienced visitors.
But Seb urged his side to relish the occasion, ending: “It’s a wonderful place to play rugby, a great atmosphere and wonderful for National One.
“I’ve got family who are coming to watch (from Birmingham), we know it will be intense, but we’re looking forward to it and know we’ll have plenty of the Ramily up there as well.”
