JUBILANT JACK AWARDED HONOURS CAP

JACK Gaylor’s incredible efforts in rejuvenating the Centaurs (3rd XV) and Horde (5th XV), plus more than 20 years as a member of the club, saw the player-coach presented with an Honours Cap by proud President Marcus Noye at the end-of-season ball.

The versatile back, who has played anywhere from scrum-half to full-back during hundreds of Rams’ games since first appearing at Old Bath Road as a Mini, oversaw a sensational campaign in which the Mighty Cents finished runners-up to all-conquering Henley 2nd XV in Counties Two Tribute Berks, Bucks & Oxon South.

However, the perfect blend of youth and experience helped The Horde claim glory in the Thames Valley Invitational League, another award added to Jack’s mantlepiece having previously claimed the Cents’ Players’ Player of the Year award in their title-winning 2022-23 campaign.

*Congratulations Jack on a fabulous effort!
