Stanners opened the scoring before the away side nudged in front thanks to a converted try, but it was one-way traffic from there as the first half wore on.
Gareth Rea, playing with his dad Rob and with three generations of the family in attendance, got the third, Stanners completing his treble as two more kicks made it 26-7.
The evergreen JJ Bell collected his customary score before another conversion left Rams 33-7 up at the interval.
And Stanners continued his sensational show with a fourth, John Snodden collecting his side’s seventh of the afternoon as Phoenix bagged one in reply.
The Horde sit top-of-the-table on 20 points, next due to host Egham Holowegians on Saturday, March 29 with the potential for more fixtures against second-placed Newbury 2nd XV, Reading Rhinos and Egham away before the season comes to a conclusion.
