Recent Form:

Poor – a run of eight straight defeats saw Tigers relegated last Saturday.

A horror runs against the top three has seen 68-7, 66-24 and 61-28 setbacks against Rotherham Titans (home), Plymouth Albion (away) and Blackheath (h).

They did, though, pick up bonus-points against the play-off sides.

Prior to that the losses were Birmingham Moseley (22-20, a), Tonbridge Juddians (31-28, h), Dings Crusaders (19-0, a), Rosslyn Park (33-19, h) and Leeds Tykes (46-19, h).

Sedgley’s last win came at the end of January, a 24-14 triumph at Leicester Lions following a superb 30-14 victory versus Bishop’s Stortford.

Defeats at Clifton (24-10) and Sale (29-13) came either side of the Christmas break.

Those ended a five-match losing run which also saw setbacks against Rotherham (40-15, a), Plymouth (50-26, h) and Blackheath (31-3, a).

Tigers had originally looked good during a run of six wins in nine matches between Rounds Two and 10.

In reverse order, these saw a 28-27 home triumph against Moseley, albeit they lost 56-0 at TJs the week before.

Similar ups-and-downs before meant a 29-22 defeat of Dings came after a 68-19 thrashing at Rosslyn Park.

Preceding the loss at The Rock were 52-29 and 20-15 wins versus Leicester and Stortford.

A disappointing 40-31 home loss to Clifton came off the back of 20-8 and 27-22 northern derby wins against Leeds and Sale respectively.

And they could have started with a win, Rams nicking a 24-18 triumph thanks to a late Zach Clow try at Park Lane.
