Biography

Owen joined the club in 2009, going onto be first-team captain during a spell where they climbed from Level Five into National Two South.

However, a serious ACL injury limited his time playing after he was fit-again, transitioning into working with the pack before eventually taking over as lead forwards coach.

His work around the set-piece and maul was particularly noticeable in the National Two promotion-winning season of 2018/19 when Rams remarkably earned 15 penalty tries and hooker Ben Henderson topped the charts with 21.
