WILLO Bicknell completed a quick-fire awards double as he was named April Player of the Month for April.

The No. 8, who scored his first hat-trick for the club in the 61-40 victory against Sedgley Park on the last day of the season, received 55 per cent of the vote.

It was a second crown for the Zambian, who also triumphed in January.

And it adds more kudos to Willo’s amazing debut campaign at Old Bath Road.

He also won the Players’ Player of the Season title at last Saturday’s end-of-season presentation night.

Loose-head prop turned hooker Max Marshall took the monthyl silver medal with 18 per cent.

He scored his first two tries for the Berkshire boys in the same game.

Resurgent Ellis Jones was a fraction behind following a fine month in midfield, with Zach Clow the other nominee following tries against both Rosslyn and Sedgley Park.

Willo’s success made him the only player to win the monthly title twice this term.

Scrum-half Ollie Hodgson and prop Ryan Lomas had taken the spoils in March and February.

Pre-Christmas, Henry Bartlett, Oli Rhoads, Luke Graham and Morgan MacRae were the champions from December back to September.
