VOTE NOW – FEBRUARY PLAYER OF THE MONTH

ANOTHER up-and-down month leaves Rams sixth in the National One table, though with some more superb individual performances.

Max Hayman’s hat-trick helped the hosts beat Clifton 34-24 in their first game in February, before defeats to Blackheath and Bishop’s Stortford.

The skipper also crossed with the final play of the most recent loss, taking his career tally to 81 for Rams.

Joining Max on the February shortlist are:

Ellis Jones

Welsh centre reached 100 caps against Clifton as he fell agonisingly short of an early try in Clubhouse Corner.

Then proved one of the stand-out performers in the other games.

Ryan Lomas

Tight-head prop produced a moment of handling magic in the build-up to Axel Kalling-Smith’s try against Clifton.

Increasingly conspicuous both at scrum time and around the park, the Irishman opened his try-scoring account for the season against Stortford.

Harry Stone

Flitting between the engine room and back row, the 21-year-old has enjoyed a try-scoring hot streak having crossed in all three February fixtures.

Also relentless physical around the park.
