The round-robin event saw games played over 20 minutes, with Dave Cox’s side falling behind to Reading in their opener.
But having conceded a converted try, they turned things round in style.
First to cross was Will Burrows, Matt Cox with the extras, and soon after Isaac Tokura set-up Theo Pett-Ridge for another seven-pointer.
The provider then crossed himself before Cox made it 21-7.
Reading battled gamely, but a key goal-line penalty kept them at arm’s length.
And Rams put their foot down late on as Burrows doubled his tally before Olly Marsh collected the final score.
But they were slow out of the blocks against Henley, some slack tackling allowing their rivals to race into a 14-0 lead.
Tokura and Cox combined to halve the deficit before Hawks grabbed two more tries, the second a length-of-the-field effort.

Alec Formela grabbed Rams’ second score, but their opponents led 33-12 with five minutes remaining.
The Berkshire boys put in a sterling late rally with Pett-Ridge touching down on the right before Cox converted a Marsh effort.
Another seven-pointer bolstered hopes of a sensational comeback, but Henley weathered the storm to take a narrow 33-31 success.
Rams bounce back in final two games
Rams were straight back out against Bracknell, Llyr Jones giving them an early lead.
But the Lily Hill Men responded with a converted try before the two teams exchanged seven-pointers.
However, Rams again came on strong towards the end.
Jones firstly nudged his side back in front, Marsh then creating breathing space as Cox added to both.
And the impressive Seb Burgess then bagged a late brace to complete a 36-14 triumph.
Rams conceded the opening score for the third time on the night in their final game with Abbey.
Formela levelled things, but the hosts regained the advantage soon.
From 10-5 down, though, Rams produced their best rugby of the evening.
Given a boost by a brilliant Pett-Ridge 70-metre interception try, the same player finished a quick-fire double for 17-10.

Marsh extended the lead before Burgess powered over, Jacob Kyte then showing a tremendous turn of foot to break down the left for another converted score.
And there was still time for Cian Tappan to add a further gloss to the scoreline, Pett-Ridge adding the extras to make the final score 43-10.
