TOP TRY-SCORERS AT THE END OF OCTOBER

RAMS lifted their National One try tally to 35 in the opening eight games with Morgan MacRae continuing to lead the way during October.

The inside centre took his tally to eight at an average of one-per-game following an away effort versus Leeds Tykes and a double at Clifton.

Young South African wing Luke Graham enjoyed an equally productive month with his brace against Birmingham Moseley added to by the winner in Bristol, taking him to five in four outings.

There were two tries apiece for Zach Clow (Leeds and Blackheath) and skipper Max Hayman (Tykes, Moseley) in October.

Axel Kalling-Smith also has four this term, with Charlie Robson’s effort against Birmingham lifting the wing to three.

Next on the list are Willo Bicknell and an old Rams’ favourite, Penalty Try, with two apiece, and Ben Atkins, Louis Pereira and Harry Stone with one to their name.

Rams visit Bishop’s Stortford (November 8), host Plymouth Albion (15) and then head to Leicester Lions (22) this month.

The current try split between forwards, including the penalty tries, and backs, currently stands at 10-25.

The average per game is 4.38, currently slightly down on the 4.54 accumulated with 118 in 26 games last term.
