Tykes have had a stuff start to their return to Level Three, most recently going down 38-15 at Sale on the back of a 20-8 home reverse against Sedgley Park.
Their opening two games saw defeats at current table-toppers Rotherham Titans (52-12) and against second-placed visitors Plymouth Albion (45-12).
Leeds, however, enjoyed dual success in pre-season games against National Two North opposition, winning 26-7 against Wharfedale having previously beaten Hull Ionians 57-21.
Players to Watch:
Tom Davis – Sale Sharks Senior Academy hooker is on loan for the season having previously impressed at Fylde and latterly Sedgley Park last term.
Toured Georgia with England Under 18s in the summer of 2024.
Will Yates – Previously with Harrogate, the wing was an ever-present in scoring 11 tries in a full house of 26 games last term.
Has started well stepping up to National One having crossed against Plymouth Albion and Sedgley Park.
Kieran Davies – Classy full-back who can also play fly-half, he played a couple of games with Yorkshire Carnegie before Tykes’ renaissance in National One.
Has played 47 times in total for the club, named Supporters’ and Players’ Player of the Year when relegated in 2022/23, a campaign which saw him score a sensational long-range try at Old Bath Road.
Has racked up 228 points for Leeds including 25 tries, 47 conversions two penalties and a drop goal.
