Mixed memories from derby days
Favourite Rams match: The last-minute away victory at Henley in 2019 was incredible.
Lots of us from Courtiers were there and after going wild with celebrations at the end of the match, we all hit up Magoos for the afterparty.
Worst Rams match: The much-hyped Friday night top-of-the-table clash at Chinnor a couple of seasons ago ended up being a dismal 21-7 loss.
To make matters worse it was freezing cold and there was a limited choice at the bar.
Favourites include Jak and Connor
Favourite Rams try: Jak Rossiter’s winning score in the Henley game will live long in the memory.
Favourite Rams player: Pointless champion Connor Stapley.
Favourite ever try (any rugby): I’m going to have to go for Jak again, it really was good!
Favourite ever player (any rugby): It’s got to be the French player Faraj Fartass. I bet he doesn’t have much trouble creating a lot of space around him.
Favourite food: The Domino’s Cheeseburger pizza.
Favourite drink: Kraken rum with coke, ice and lime and served alongside another ten of them.
Favourite travel destination: The Oakford in Reading.
Favourite TV show: The Last of Us.
Favourite musician: Shania Twain.
Favourite song: ‘I Want Chicken Wings’ by Beard Meats Food.
Favourite rugby ground: Where else but OBR.
Favourite other sports: Snooker and Scrabble.
One rule change you’d make in rugby: Instead of being sat in the sin bin, a suspended player must spend the ten minutes paying for all drinks purchased at the bar.
Best thing about Rams RFC: The family feel of the club means there’s always a great atmosphere at each game. And the bar serves a decent cider.
