ELLIS Jones’ outstanding start to the season is recognised with the Welshman winning the September Player of the Month prize.

The centre, who reached 100 caps last term, has been superb since moving into the No. 12 jersey.

The Reading University alumni has been outstanding on both sides of the ball, carrying 41 times in the opening four games.

He has also beaten 20 defenders.

And he provided a brilliant assist for Mikey Duda’s score against Rosslyn Park last week.

Defensively Ellis has made 29 tackles and been a constant threat at the breakdown.

He will look to continue to make an impact as Rams seek a second consecutive National One victory at Birmingham Moseley on Saturday.

*Travelling supporters are reminded of the 3.30pm kick-off.
