Young scrum-half Ollie Hodgson – a try-scorer in the corresponding fixture last term – goes from the off with Mike Cooke outside him.
Morgan MacRae starts at inside centre for the first time in three months, fellow Welshman and new centurion Ellis Jones alongside him.
The back three remains the same as last week, Oli Rhoads providing an assist for one of full back Zach Clow’s tries.
On the right wing, Swedish international Axel Kalling-Smith grabbed his ninth score of the season versus Clifton.
