
The hosts built up a 19-0 lead inside half and hour as Ewan Fenley, Luke Mehson and Charlie Walker crossed, Ed Morgan with two conversions.
Twon converted Newport tries cut the gap before the break, but Mehson’s second and one from Ed Volley had the Londoners back in command.
Bill Johnston added to the second, and Jake Cleet’s late effort added further gloss to the scoreline.
Rotherham dominate as Albion draw
Rotherham Titans eased to an emphatic 59-7 win against visitors Hull Ionians.
Harvey Biljoen’s side started well with Will Metcalfe and Ellis Thomas dotting down for scores added to by Lloyd Hayes.
A penalty try made it 21-0 before Hull got on the board, only for Mitchell Lacey-Babalola to collect Titans’ fourth before the interval, Hayes again on target.
And the hosts pulled clear as the game progressed, Luke Cole (two), Callum Bustin and Isaac Shaw all crossing along with a second penalty try and two Rob Povey kicks.
Plymouth Albion shared the spoils 19-19 with Bridgend at The Brickfields.
Ben Moa put the Devonians in front but their rivals converted a try to lead at the break.
Bridgend then moved 19-5 up with two more scores, but Albion hit back with Frankie Dart on target after Joel Broadhurst and Jake Bond went over.

Club impress in defeat
Blackheath impressed in a 54-35 defeat at Championship side Bedford Blues.
Will Maisey converted an eighth-minute Tom Herman try to put the home side in front, Club levelling through Archie Smeaton and Ed Dunford.
A second converted Herman effort put Blues back in front, George Worth’s seven-pointer making it 21-7.
Blackheath’s Jordan Burns and Bedford’s Dean Adamson exchanged converted scores before Smeaton’s second made it 28-21 at the break.
The visitors levelled via Billy Harding and Dunford, but Blues took control with Kayde Sylvester and Billy Pascoe touching down, Tom Price’s boot firing his side 42-28 up.
Finn Osborne’s converted effort gave Blackheath hope, but that was quelled late on thanks to tries from Fred Tuilagi and Ryan Apps.
Dogs dazzle under the Lights
Sale FC overcame Macclesfield 52-28 under the Friday Night Lights.
Tries from Jon O’Donnell and Nathan Langdon, along with a Will Davies conversion, had the Dogs 12-7 up after the first quarter, another Langdon effort and one from George Perkins extending the advantage before the break.
A Fergus Mulchrone intercept followed a Macclesfield score for 33-14, with further tries from George Henderson, Charlie Hilliard and Mark Dixon securing the win for Sale.

Tommy Taylor and Louis Mifsud were at the double as Ben Pogson, Austin Nevitt and Travis Bennett-Alcock also crossed in Birmingham Moseley’s 45-19 success against Carmarthen Wanderers, while Sedgley Park beat Preston Grasshoppers 44-7.
Leicester Lions went down 19-10 at Luctonians, with Tonbridge Juddians looking good in a high-scoring 47-26 triumph at Bury St Edmunds.
