One of the best to come out of the Reading University partnership, Ellis caught the eye with a debut try against Canterbury in December, 2017, before ending the campaign with five in eight games thanks to a brilliant treble in the 51-0 final-day home success against Henley Hawks.

Has gone onto prove a reliable, powerful and crafty midfield players, moving towards 100 caps before a knee injury most likely ruled him out of the remainder of the 24/25 season.
