UNBEATEN RAMS Under 16s let a 12-point lead slip as they were held to a 20-20 draw by a gallant Chinnor side.

The hosts built up a 20-8 advantage thanks to tries from Harrison Gillings, Obi Nwachuku, Jake Scott and Charlie Fuller, and were also held up over the line three times by some heroic Chinnor defence.

The Thame-based side came under intense pressure in the second half, but they held firm before grabbing a couple of late tries to ensure the spoils were shared.

Elsewhere, the U13s slipped to a brace of competitive losses at Newbury but will hope to bounce back at Reading Abbey today.

The U15s are also in action against neighbours Abbey, this time at Old Bath Road, while the Colts travel to Oxford Harlequins.

Finally, the U14 girls are at home to Gosport and Havant, with the remainder of the Juniors and Minis section training.
