TOM Knappman scored 11 points but it was not enough to prevent the Colts Extra As from falling to a 50-21 reverse at Beaconsfield.
Things started perfectly for the visitors as Knappman added to his own try, Beaconsfield hitting back with a couple of tires, one converted for 12-7.
It was Rams who led at the break, however, Harry Napper dotting down before Knappman nudged his side in front.
Beaconsfield regained the lead with a seven-pointer, but the away side regathered and hit the front again as Joe McDermott crossed, Knappman landing from the tee.
However, a depleted Rams squad ran out of gas late on, Beaconsfield turning on the after-burners in the closing stages as they eased to victory.
The Colts host Trojans this afternoon (1pm).
