The news we all feared but half expected filtered through last week that Worthing had conceded their match against Bracknell. This 'Cry Off' resulted in Bracknell getting the points and thus moving above the Tigers on pts difference.

It was a really disappointing way to miss out on promotion but to be fair to Bracknell they did beat us fair and square home and away this season so you won't get any complaints from us. They deserve their runners up spot.

Taking the obvious disappointment to one side it's really been a fantastic season for the Development Squad who exceeded all expectations and played brilliantly at times. It was a team built on team spirit and sheer determination and it carried us though many tough matches

I want to take this opportunity to that all the players who made this such a special season and to the rest of the management team who ensured all this ran smoothly.
