TERRIFIC TRIO OF BEN, MORGAN AND TULLY RETURN

ANOTHER trio of prominent Rams have re-signed for the upcoming 2026/27 National One season.

Ben Atkins

Former England age group international returns from injury for a fourth season at Old Bath Road.

The ex-London Irish ace proved a shrewd addition in his first campaign, bagging an impressive nine tries in 23 outings as Rams finished runners-up to Chinnor.

An unfortunate pre-season injury at the promoted side restricted Ben’s efforts in 2024/25, albeit he still made 15 appearances and touched down on four occasions.

Ben again impressed in the first half of last term, reaching a half-century of caps in the stunning 40-29 victory at Rosslyn Park last December.

Still only 26, the former Forest School student made only one more appearance at home to Sale before a knee injury ended his season.

But fit-again he will be back raring to go next term.

Morgan MacRae

The versatile former Wales 7s ace ended last season as fourth top try-scorer following a successful switch to inside centre.

Joining as a hooker/back row from neighbours Henley Hawks ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, the local lad enjoyed a fine first campaign with eight tries in 18 appearances.

And the ex-Oratory School ace enjoyed a sensational start to life in the No. 12 shirt, scoring a brilliant brace against Dings Crusaders in the Round Two 73-24 triumph.

He also made a blistering break which set-up a Max Hayman score which received more than 150K internet views.

Morgan raced to nine tries in his first nine games before ending with 12 during a fine season.

Aaron Tull

Former Bristol Bear enjoyed a terrific first sojourn at Rams, winning the Tackling Trophy at the end-of-season awards night.

Tully overcame an early speedbump when he suffered a concussion in the opening day 24-18 victory at Sedgley Park, going on to be one of the stand-out players last term.

He went onto feature 21 times – 17 starts and four from the bench – while touching down against Leicester Lions and Sedgley at home.

Outstanding handling ability was particularly on show against Clifton at home and was twice runner-up in the Player of the Month vote.

Ben, Morgan and Tully take the number of re-signed players to 15 to date, along with six new additions.

Re-signings: Max Hayman ©, Ben Atkins, James Baker, Willo Bicknell, Zach Clow, Mike Cooke, Mikey Duda, Paddy Harris, Ollie Hodgson, Paddy Jackson, Ellis Jones, Axel Kalling-Smith, Ryan Lomas, Morgan MacRae, Ant Marris, George Tomlinson, Aaron Tull.
