The 23-year-old, who has 18 tries in 31 appearances from his two previous spells at Old Bath Road, has rejoined the club following a summer playing rugby league, most recently at London Broncos.
Prior to that, Charlie enjoyed a productive season at Champ side Coventry, crossing the whitewash seven times in 18 games before switching codes.
But the former Cobham Mini will now look to increase his impressive strike rate alongside fellow back three fliers Zach Clow and Axel Kalling-Smith – both of whom touched down in the dramatic opening-day success at Sedgley Park.
Hodgson steps up
The powerful centre partnership of Morgan MacRae – who showed his versatility by switching back to flanker in the closing stages of the Tigers triumph – and Ellis Jones remain intact with Mike Cooke inside them at fly-half, the second change among the three-quarters seeing Ollie Hodgson step up from the bench to take the No. 9 jersey.
Captain and hooker Max Hayman again leads from the front with props Paddy Harris and Ryan Lomas alongside him, Connor Stapley and Harry Stone behind in the engine room.
The final change sees Ben Atkins replace the injured Aaron Tull on the blind-side flank, Mikey Duda on the opposite side of the scrum as Willo Bicknell will look to follow up last week’s eye-catching debut with another strong effort at No. 8.
Fit-again Baker on bench
There is a welcome return for the club’s all-time record cap-holder James Baker on the bench, Ant Marris ready to cause front-row havoc with his fellow senior statesman.
Second row Liam Elston could win a second cap after returning from his travels, while Andrew Lamb – who set-up Clow for the decisive try last time out – is joined by debutant scrum-half Louis Pereira in covering the backs.
Forwards George Breese, Pete Austin and Paddy Jackson, along with fit-again three-quarters Luke Graham and Rowan Grundy, are named as travelling reserves in case of any last-minute hitch.
