Former Reading University student Grundy made his debut as a fly-half at Caldy back in December 2021, but has gone onto nail down the inside jersey as he reaches his half-century against the fifth-placed visitors.
Army man Solodrau Radianirova partners Grundy in midfield, with the club’s two international wings, Polish ace Tomek Pozniak and Sweden skipper Axel Kalling-Smith on the left and right respectively.
First start for McGhie
Zach Clow continues his perfect starting record this season at full-back, while there is a debut for Kyle McGhie at scrum-half.
The Hartpury loanee was on the bench for the Friday Night Lights clash with Richmond back in December, but then suffered an injury which has ruled him out since early December.
However, the Scot is now fit and is joined at the fulcrum by the ever-present Fraser Honey, who makes a 46th straight start since joining the club.
Skipper returns
Hooker Hayman, still joint top try-scorer with 11 despite missing the past three months, is joined in the front row by loose-head prop Paddy Harris – maintaining his status of being in every matchday squad this term – and the club’s record-breaking legend James Baker.
Nile Dacres and Dan Swain are reunited in the second row with Harry Stone swapping with the latter to blind-side flank, the pack completed by dynamic tackling machine Mikey Duda and versatile No. 8 Ben Atkins.

Prop cover on the bench is provided by century-chasing Ant Marris and Nick Barry, who impressed as a replacement at Birmingham Moseley last time out, with the classy James McRae ready to add further impact among the forwards.
Another first-timer in the Midlands, Royal Air Force scrum-half Sam Boxhall, is retained in the 20, with the final option Loughborough University centre Joe Pannese.

Four travelling reserves are named in case of any late drama, with Morgan MacRae, Ryan Lomas, Ollie Hodgson and Andrew Lamb the quartet ready to step up if needed.
