Sweden’s record-breaking try-scorer will remain at Old Bath Road looking to build on a phenomenal tally of 44 scores in 95 National One appearances so far.
The versatile three-quarter arrived at Rams from Brunel University, impressing for Titans (2nd XV) before making his first-team bow at Caldy in December 2021.
Axel played four more times before the end of the season, but then stamped his mark the following campaign.
He scored his first try at home to Esher on the opening day before the floodgates open, 13 in total during a Captain’s Player of the Year award-winning effort.

These included doubles versus Darlington Mowden Park, Rosslyn Park, Taunton Titans and Cinderford.
Axel then bagged a brace to help beat Chinnor under the Friday Night Lights in the first home game of 2023/24.
He added four more, but Rams had to settle for second behind their neighbours meaning back-to-back runners-up finishes.
The powerful wing – equally capable in midfield – has shown no signs of slowing down in the past two seasons.
He has grabbed 12 tries in 23 outings and 13 in 22 respectively as he closes in on a century of caps.
These included becoming just the seventh Ram to score a National One hat-trick, his treble coming against Leeds Tykes.
And having rejected big-money offers from rival clubs, the 27-year-old will look to get there in the first block of fixtures – while also eyeing up a half-century of tries!
