SUPER SAM SET FOR INTER-SERVICES ACTION

SCRUM-HALF Sam Boxhall starts for the Royal Air Force as they begin their Inter-Services Championship campaign against The Navy at Northampton Saints tomorrow afternoon (4pm).

The No. 9 caught the eye as the RAF were beaten 19-5 by the Development XV last October, then joining the club in February and making his debut off the bench at Birmingham Moseley.

Sam also featured off the bench versus Plymouth Albion before playing the full 80 minutes at Sedgley Park, then opening his Rams’ try-scoring account in the fabulous 30-19 success against his former club Rotherham Titans.

Elsewhere, Solodrau Radianirova has been named in the Army’s wider squad for the competition.

The title-defending Red Shirts face Royal Navy at Twickenham on Saturday, May 3, before taking on the Air Force at Gloucester’s Kingsholm Stadium on May 17.
