The wing was a fresher when called up by Titans coach Rob Dyer in April 2024, Sedge scoring in a dramatic 31-31 draw with Ampthil 1881s.
And following the experience, Oli is buzzing to be on board for the upcoming campaign.
He explained: “The game I played was great fun and was a glimpse of what I hope to see lots more of.
“Growing up nearby I’ve heard a lot about Rams and seen the growth in the last decade or so.
“It’s a club trying to push on and I’m buzzing to be part of it.”
BUCS Super Rugby champion
The 21-year-old grew up in south Oxfordshire, attending Oratory Prep School followed by St Edward’s Oxford.
It was at the latter he was called into the Wasps development programme, while at university he made 30 BUCS Super Rugby Premiership appearances for reigning champions Bath.
Commenting on the past three years and his style of play he said: “Bath was a great experience. There’s such a close link with the Premiership club and everything is very professional.
“Having the chance to play at The Rec and Sandy Park (versus Exeter University) was very special.
“There were so many great players around the squad it drove standards and we had plenty of success.
“I see myself as quite a charismatic wing, I like to make things happen and get my hands on the ball.
“But also as a finisher I feel I’ve got an eye for the line and defensively I like to make my tackles.
“I’m always looking to improve and there are some established players like Axel (Kalling-Smith) and Zach (Clow) I’ll try and learn from.
Standing 6ft 1in and weighing 90kg, Oli is a talented multi-sportsman who played junior cricket for Berkshire and football at school.
But he is now fully focussed on developing his rugby at Old Bath Road.
He ended: “A lot of my friends get down to support and I’ve heard the atmosphere is superb.
“It would mean a lot to get the chance to play in front of the fans and I’ll be working as hard as possible to do that.”
Rams play their opening pre-season game at home to Clifton next Saturday (August 15, 3pm).
