DAN Swain’s unbelievable display on his return to first-team action made him a landslide winner of the Round Eight Player of the Week gong.

Despite the 36-33 loss to Leeds Tykes, Dan’s numbers were dominant at Old Bath Road.
Playing open-side flanker for the first time at OBR, he made a phenomenal 19 tackles with a 100 per cent completion.
Sixteen of these were dominant.
He also hit 14 breakdowns with 13 dominant, winning three turnovers.
All three of these metrics were team-leading for the 2024/25 Players’ Player of the Year.
His eight carries were the second most for the hosts and he also beat five defenders.
Seven took his team across the gain line during a phenomenal 80-minute effort – one Director of Rugby Seb Reynolds admitted wasn’t part of the plan!
