ALL of us at Rams who remember Jon are very sorry to hear of his sudden passing at the age of 77.

I have known him for a long, long time and he was an integral part of the Berkshire Rugby Union set-up for many, many years as Treasurer (I believe in 1981 when I was playing!), President, Head of Discipline; he was also a Trustee on the Berkshire RFU Trust Fund, which clubs were able to borrow money from over the years.

Jon went onto become President of the RFU in 2014, presenting league titles to Rams, and was a long-standing member of Bracknell RFC for more than 50 years, again in many different roles and most recently President.

He will be remembered fondly by all his old friends at Rams, and our condolences go out to his wife Mary and wider family.
