He will be greatly missed by all his family and numerous friends.
I have known Ian personally for more than 50 years through our connection with Redingensians and Rams.
He has been a father figure to many of us and our rugby Club has become a better place due to his dedication having been our President for some 37 Years, overseeing the various changes which have taken place.
He was a popular figure among all our adversaries and always found the right words at the pre-match lunches.
Ian was often the ‘last man standing’ on our numerous tours and overnight away fixtures with yet another ‘nightcap’!
I’m sure you will all have your own fond memories of ‘El Presidente’ and there will be further messages to follow.
