Recent Form: Excellent – Plymouth are having by far their best run since before Covid.

Claimed a wonderful 19-18 home win against Birmingham Moseley last time out despite having Harry Wilkinson sent off after 43 minutes and went into Week 10 top-of-the-table before going down 36-22 at Richmond.

Prior to that they claimed an outstanding 22-17 victory at Chinnor on the back of a 28-15 win against Blackheath.

Ended the first block of fixtures with their worst display of the season, a 22-10 setback at Cinderford, but prior to that had won five in a row against Sale (36-10), Darlington Mowden Park (27-17), Leicester Lions (45-21), Bishop’s Stortford (24-21) and Taunton Titans (54-29).

Albion picked up two points in their opening-day 39-36 reverse at Rosslyn Park.

Players to Watch:

Ramaz Rukhadze – Loose-head prop was picked in both the Rugby Paper and National League Rugby Teams of the Season following a series of impressive displays last term.

The ‘Georgian Bull’ has featured in every game this season, scoring four tries, and his durability meant he missed just one last year as he also crossed the whitewash seven times – including at Old Bath Road.

Tom Putt – Has proved a solid performer at both fly-half and full-back since stepping up to National One during the 2019/20 campaign.

Having previously been at Brixham and Newton Abbot, he is Plymouth’s top points-scorer this term with 60 (24 conversions and four penalties) and had a metronomic and siege-gun boot.

Robin Wedlake – Lethal wing played at Albion from 2015-18 before going onto be a proven Championship player during five seasons with Cornish Pirates.

Did enough to earn a move to champions Jersey, but following their demise, Albion were delighted to welcome him back and he got back among the tries with a match-winning double against Birmingham.
