Recent Form

Dings ran into a red-hot Rosslyn Park as their National One campaign began with a 45-10 reverse at last season’s runners-up.

However, there was plenty to like in pre-season for the Bristolians, who played three Anglo-Welsh clashes and a local derby.

They ended with a 31-19 home loss to Newport, having previously beaten Old Redcliffians 44-22 and Pontypool 35-31 in high-scoring home clashes.

Dings lost their opening warm-up 49-19 at Bargoed.

Players to Watch:

Will Thompson – Powerful second row joined the club from Walcot in the summer of 2022, and has gone onto score nine tries in 69 appearances.

Made a sensational midfield break to help set-up a try in Crusaders’ 26-17 defeat at Old Bath Road last January.

Alex Bilton – Back row is closing in on a century of caps having arrived from Corsham in 2019, racking up five tries in 91 games and helping his side to promotion two seasons ago.

Tom Foot – Exeter University graduate enjoyed a prolific try-scoring streak at the back end of last season, bagging five in his last six outings including a brace against Esher.

Joined Dings post-Covid and crossed the whitewash four times in 27 matches in the 2021/22 season, and despite missing the following term, has 12 in 57 overall.
