MIKEY Duda’s brilliant try-scoring performance in Saturday’s National One home victory against Rosslyn Park helped earn him the Player of the Week gong.

The all-action flanker touched down as part of a one-two counter-punch with Ross McKay.

Their tries reduced a 24-7 deficit back to just three points.

Duda also made 10 tackles and eight carries as his side triumphed 38-34 thanks to a final-play penalty try.

And his work at the breakdown was also off the charts, making 14 dominant interventions among 16.

Mikey follows Johnny Ireland, Ellis Jones and Ben Atkins as the opening month’s champions.
