FIRST-TIME try-scorer Alex Ridgway’s industrious effort at Tonbridge Juddians secures the Round Seven Player of the Week gong.

The blind-side flanker opened the scoring as Rams made a superb start, albeit they eventually lost 49-19 at The Slade.

Bath loanee, Alex, however, put in a combative display and made 10 tackles with a 91 per cent completion.

Seven of these were also dominant.

And the Wales Under 20s back row also made five strong carries from six, beating four defenders.

Three of his four breakdown involvements were also dominant in defeat.
