RESOLUTE Liam Saayman’s consistent performances across October earn him the Player of the Month prize.

Playing in both the second and back row, the summer signing was one of just two forwards to start all four games.

Fellow off-season recruit, Ryan Cozens, was the other.

Along with helping an improved line-out effort since the Birmingham Moseley defeat, Liam contributed on both sides of the ball.

The former Leicester Lion, who arrived from Australia in late August, made 41 tackles.

And he offered a go-forward option with ball in hand, carrying 25 times and beating 10 defenders.

Liam’s next chance to shine comes tomorrow at table-topping Plymouth Albion (3pm).
