PETE Austin’s sensational second score against Dings Crusaders is the first Rams’ effort to be up for the National League Try of the Week award this term.

The hooker collected Ross McKay’s pin-point cross-field kick on the left wing and then shrugged off would-be defender Harry Rowson.

And further perseverance helped the Army skipper cross the whitewash for a brilliant try.
