1931 – Pountney, W Saunders and Brown crossed the whitewash and Rippingale added a conversion, but ORs were beaten 13-11 by Life Guards.
1959 – Two Lake tries and an Eric Martin conversion gave Old Redingensians an 8-0 victory at home to UCSOB.
1964 – Two John Randle tries and one from Jim Digby, all converted by the latter, weren’t enough for Gensians as they lost 27-15 to visitors Bank of England.
1973 – Redingensians fell to a 37-3 reverse at Newbury.
1981 – Lester Hinds and Chris Vaal were both at the double and Tim Sillince, Mark Simmons and John Beardmore also went over as the boys in blue cruised past Old Windsorians 41-4, Steve Hunt completing the scoring with five conversions and a penalty.
1987 – Graham Tibbett collected 23 points – two tries, one penalty and six conversions – in Gensians’ 51-0 drubbing of Old Windsorians at Sonning.
Graham Smith crossed in each half, Steve Hunt also weighed in with a couple while Pete Coombs, Martin Radford and Mark Stevens were also on the scoresheet.
1998 – Nick Flynn, Tim Bell, Dave Layder, Micky Bell, Rob Castell and Paul Tatum dotted down in Redingensians’ 39-12 home triumph against Melksham, Dave Cox adding two conversions and a penalty and Barry Gould the extras to one of the tries to complete the scoring.
2015 – A penalty try and further efforts from Dave Massey, Azza Hopkins and Dan Barnes, added to by four James Brooks’ conversions and three penalties, sealed the National Three South West title and promotion to the top 72 clubs in England.
