Richmond/Dings draw, with Roth, Moseley, Plymouth, Park and Esher victorious!

BIRMINGHAM Moseley pulled off a sensational comeback as they overturned a 0-20 deficit to topple Sedgley Park 28-26 at Billesley Common.

Rhys Henderson, Harry Thompson and John Blanchard all touched down for Tigers as Ollie Glasse knocked over a conversion and penalty, Mose on the board as Jack Jolly added to a Tuoyo Egodo score.

A further Glasse penalty made it 23-7 at the break, but Jolly was again on target after Sam McNulty and Tommy Taylor went over ahead of another Glasse penalty.

However, Mose – despite losing Ollie Allsopp to a red card – completed a wonderful win as captain fantastic Ollie Stedman barrelled over with seven minutes to play, Taylor landing the decisive kick.

Richmond preserved their unbeaten start to the season with two converted tries in the last eight minutes of their 31-31 draw at Dings Crusaders.

A Deago Bailey try for the hosts was responded to by a Callum Grieve penalty, Sol Taufa’s score then added to by George Boulton for 12-3 Dings.

Grieve added to an Alex Schwarz effort before Chidera Obonna put ‘Mond in front, Crusaders levelling at the break when Tomas Gwilliam dotted down.

Boulton converted two Sam Edwards tries to put the home side in front, but the Londoners rescued a share of the spoils thanks to Luc Jones, Will Goffey and Grieve’s unerring boot.

Rotherham Titans made it five wins in six after over-turning a half-time deficit at Leicester Lions, the visitors running out 34-17 victors.

A Jack Bergmanas score put Roth in front before Tom Threlfall kicked a penalty and converted Aaron Pope’s try, Ronnie du Randt levelling things at 10-10.

Threlfall was again on target after James Stubbs touched down for 17-10 at the break, but Titans rallied and sealed the deal thanks to tries from Lloyd Hayes, JP Bruzulier and Jack Hedley, the league’s top points-scorer Hayes adding a further nine points from the boot.

Plymouth Albion held off Blackheath 29-23 at Brickfields to secure a fourth straight success.

Tom Putt converted Jack Oulton’s try before landing a penalty for 10-0, Club replying as Tom Ffitch added to Matt Armstrong’s score.

Putt was on target after Rhys Williams touched down, a Ffitch penalty the last points of the first half.

He kicked two more and then converted an Agustin Slowik try to build a six-point lead, but Craig Duncan’s double and a Harry Legg kick sealed the deal for Albion.

Rosslyn Park’s recovery continued with a third consecutive victory, the Londoners winning 34-15 at Sale.

Josh Bragman added to an early Conrad Cade maul try for the visitors, Josh Brown replying in kind for the Dogs.

The set-piece sent Isaac Miller over for Park, Bragman again on target, but Obi Ene and Brown crossed for a 15-14 half-time score.

Rosslyn turned on the after-burners after the break, though, tries from Charlie Mulchrone, Charlie Walker and Matt Gordon supplemented by five points from Bragman’s boot securing the win.

Esher recorded their first win of the campaign, downing basement boys Darlington Mowden Park 31-21.

The Northerners struck first as Harry Read converted Talite Vaioleti’s try, only for the hosts to level through Ed Volley and Sam Morley.

A Ben Douglas seven-pointer restored DMP’s lead, Morley kicking a penalty to cut the gap to four at the interval.

Esher’s Caleb Ashworth and Max Fraine exchanged converted scores to leave Mowden four in front, but final-quarter tries from Harry Faulkner and Ashworth, both added to by Morley, got the Eees off the mark.

Finally, Rams ground out a 10-6 victory at Bishop’s Stortford.
