RICHMOND returned to the top of the National One table following a bonus-point 31-14 home win against Dings Crusaders.
The visitors took an early lead as Jamie Elswood added to a Will Thomson score, only for ‘Mond to reply with Callum Grieve converting his own score along with two more from Henry Wills and Jake Monson.
Elswood was again on target after Harry Tarling touched down just before the break, but the hosts sealed the deal after the interval as Grieve kicked a penalty before adding to a late George Nugent score.
Third-placed Rotherham Titans continued their wonderful campaign with a 24-7 home victory versus Leicester Lions.
A Lloyd Hayes penalty put the hosts in front before Luke Bouchier converted a Harry Palmer try for Lions.
Hayes added to his own five-pointer and one from Travis Gordon before the break, the league’s leading scorer also on target after the break when Jack Bergmanas touched down.
Rosslyn Park toppled visitors Sale FC 52-33 in a helter-skelter contest at The Rock.
The hosts raced into a 21-0 lead thanks to a Jacob Wrafter brace and Jasper Cameron try, Josh Bragman with two conversions and Steffan James one before Tom Walsh crossed for the Dogs.
Charlie Walker secured the Park bonus-point before a converted Benji Marfo effort made it 33-5, Sale striking back as James Robins added to an Alfie Longstaff effort.
Robins repeated the trick after Josh Brown scored, Rosslyn responding through Walker and Bragman for 40-19.
Two more converted Brown tries completed his hat-trick and gave Sale fleeting hope, but James added to his own score before Joe Luca Smith brough up the half-century and glory for the hosts.
Plymouth Albion chalked up a seventh straight win as they triumphed 22-19 at Blackheath.
Tom Ffitch converted a Billy Harding try for Club before Albion equalised through Harrison Legg and Frankie Dart.
A James Cornish try edged Blackheath 12-7 up at the break, only for Angus Hodges to level.
Morgan Stone put Plymouth in front as Dart added the extras, the hosts squaring up through Jordan Burns and the boot of Ffitch.
However, Albion maintained their wonderful run thanks to a Tom Putt penalty.
Birmingham Moseley returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 28-20 success at Sedgley Park.
Jack Jolly converted a Harry Barnes effort to put the visitors in front, a penalty try pulling Tigers level.
Two Jolly penalties were replied to by one from Warren Seals as Mose led 13-10 at the break, a Ben Pogson try and another three points from Jolly extending the Midlanders advantage.
Seals landed a three-pointer and then added to a Murray Redpath try as Sedge roared back, but Birmingham sealed the deal as Jolly converted Dan Brough’s late score.
Resurgent Esher moved 13 points clear of the bottom two as they secured a third straight win with a 29-22 success at Darlington Mowden Park.
Garry Law converted an early Joe Craggs try for the hosts, only for Tom Walker and Myles Rawstron-Rudd to cross for the Eees as a Sam Morley nudge made it 12-7 at the break.
A Law score levelled matters before James Botterill dotted down for Esher, Morley with the extras.
Penalties were exchanged by Law and Morley before Rawstron-Rudd doubled up, the conversion pushing Esher 29-15 in front.
And while Jacon Oliver went over for Mowden late on, Junior Newton slotting the kick, it was only enough for a losing bonus-point.
Rams, meanwhile, were knocked off top spot following a 34-25 home defeat to a terrific Bishop's Stortford.
