
While Rams won 47-24 at Taunton Titans, up in London Callum Grieve converted an early score for the visitors, but Blackheath led at the break with Finn Osborne and Rory Marsh having efforts added to by Ed Dunford.
‘Mond levelled through Sam Pim and Grieve, but the hosts pulled clear as Will Davis, Osborne and Luke Pollock all crossed the whitewash, Dunford twice more on target.
Rotherham and Rosslyn looking good
Nine-try Rotherham Titans blasted National Two North rivals Sheffield 61-19 at Clifton Lane.
There was early joy for the visitors as Will Smith touched down, Elliott Fisher converting, but Jackson’s Barling’s first-half hat-trick had Titans on top with Fraser Hastie and Sinjin Broad also on the scoresheet and Lloyd Hayes perfect from the tee for 35-7.

Zak Poole’s seven-pointer gave Sheffield a good start to the second period, but Barling, Mitchell Lacey-Babalola, Harry Newborn and Xavier Valentine ensured Rotherham ran away with things, Rob Povey (two) and Joe Cummins with conversions.
Rosslyn Park earned a 40-26 home win against National Two East outfit Westcombe Park.
The Londoners led 14-0 inside at the end of the first quarter as Freddie Vaughan and Harry Ledger had scores added to by Freddie Roddick, their opponents on the board as Elliott Roofe and Jordan Thompson went over, a Charlie Fantoma kick making it 14-12 at the break.
Rosslyn regained control as Luke Mehson and Murray Redpath over, Roddick and Stefan James on target for 28-12.
The visitors struck back with a converted try, but after James added to Ali Wade’s effort, Jasper Cameron collected a second in three minutes before Westcombe earned a consolation late penalty try.
Dogs bark again
Sale FC continued their good form with a 59-7 home win versus Rossendale.
The Dogs led 33-0 at the break after Nathan Langdon, Will Addison, Andy Hughes, and Cal Ford all touched down a penalty try and three Alex Tomlinson conversions completing the scoring.
Addison’s second and scores from George Henderson, Josh Edwards and Charlie Hilliard kept the points adding up, Tomlinson with three more kicks before Rossendale got on the board through Tom Connor.

Plymouth lose thriller but Sedge shine
Plymouth Albion were squeezed out 43-41 by Exeter Chiefs Under 23s in a cracker at The Brickfields.
A Harry Wilkinson double and on from Dan Pullinger had Albion 19-17 down at the break, and despite Wilkinson completing his hat-trick, Bobby Wigginton collecting a brace and Kyle Speare also crossing, it was not quite enough.
Rams’ opening-day opponents Sedgley Park beat Macclesfield 45-7, Bishop’s Stortford went down 40-31 to Bury St Edmunds and Leicester Lions triumphed 47-15 at Old Albanians.
Will Safe and Aquile Smith were among the Birmingham Moseley scorers in a narrow 31-29 home loss to Welsh side Pontypool, while a late try for Tonbridge Juddians helped them edge past Canterbury 22-19.
