Rams 29-31 Chinnor (January 13, 2018)
Rams’ head coach Seb Reynolds hailed ‘one of the best games you could see at National Two South level’ as the hosts were edged out 31-29 in an OId Bath Road classic.
A Jack Ramshaw try put the visitors in front in the sixth minute, Jonathan Bentley converting, only for Ben Henderson to cross shortly after to cut the gap.
Chinnor pulled further ahead through a converted Mike McDonald effort before Tom Humberstone landed a penalty, only for Phil Chesters top go over and Bentley to add the extras as the away side led 21-8 at the break.
A Connor Stapley score converted by Humberstone reduced the deficit to six points, but tries from Willie Ryan and Bentley seemed to have sewn the game up for Chinnor with a little more than a quarter-of-an-hour remaining.
Yet Rams rallied, and with Matt Weller and Jak Rossiter both dotting down for five-pointers added to by Humberstone, they had a chance with three minutes remaining, only for Chinnor to hold their nerve and a vital win which eventually led to their promotion.

Old Elthamians 18-42 Rams (February 6, 2016)
A magnificent seven-try performance from Rams proved crucial in helping them continue their bid to climb away from the National Two South relegation zone in their first campaign at level four – a target they eventually achieved despite a desperate start to the season.
They made a dream start at OEs and raced into a 15-0 lead inside the opening quarter-of-an-hour, tries coming from man-of-the-match George Drury, Conor Corrigan – his first for the club – and Jamar Richardson, who rounded off a Sean McDermottroe break.
However, after Samir Kharbouch was sin-binned and penalties were exchanged between Tom White and Spike Chandler, the hosts cut the half-time deficit to 18-13 thanks to scores from Jay Rudland-Thomas and Craig Dowsett.
McDermottroe gave Rams some breathing room before Lee Nelmes went over for Elthamians, despite Harry Ledger being in the bin for a dangerous tackle.
Yet it was Rams who dominated the later stages, McDermottroe grabbing a second before Ross Crame and Craig Nightingale – who ran in from 60 metres – sealed the deal, Chandler converting the latter two.
Nightingale’s score was named by Ash Rowden as one of his favourite Rams’ scores.

Andy Amor, James Baker, Nigel Gumbleton, Ian Jeffreys, Connor Stapley and Josh Smith all crossed the whitewash and Spike Chandler landed five conversions and a pair of penalties to set the seal on a convincing success.
Rams 55-5 Newbury (March 10, 2012)
In-form Rams made it 11 wins in 12 games with a comprehensive Berkshire derby triumph at home to Newbury.
Robbie Stapley and Jevon Marsh were both at the double and Mark Odejobi, Owen Root, Aaron Hopkins, Connor Stapley and Guy Swadling also dotted down, the latter completing the scoring with five conversions.
Rams 14-46 Staines (September 25, 1993)
A tough day at the office foreshadowed a tough Southern Counties season for Rams, who ultimately were relegated with just two wins from 12 games.
In this pre-season friendly, tries from Steve Gilbert and Rob Trott, both converted by Steve Hunt, merely proved a consolation in a heavy defeat,
Rams 57-3 Oxford Marathon (September 24, 1983)

Porter took his tally to nine for the campaign while Steve Hunt kicked 17 points – seven conversions and a penalty.
The other try-scorers were Scoobie Maynard, Greg Carter, Tony Saunders, Tim Bell and Alistair Banks.
