THE away derby between The Horde (5th XV) and Reading Rhinos takes centre stage on Saturday as the two lock horns at Sonning Lane (2pm).
WITH the Senior Squad and Centaurs on bye weeks, it is the Thames Valley Invitation League clash which takes the eye, Rams looking to make it three wins from three this season following a 67-17 triumph against Phoenix 2nd XV and the recent floodlit success at Newbury Bulldogs (3rd XV).
Rhinos have been far more active and sit one spot ahead of their visitors in the table, winning one, drawing two and losing three of their six games to date for a tally of 13 points.
They most recently shared the spoils 12-12 with Phoenix, also finishing equal 282-28 with Bulldogs last month.
Before Christmas, Rhinos lost 38-12 and 36-12 away and home against Egham Hollowegians 2nd XV, those results sandwiching a 52-12 victory at Phoenix.
Reading went down 48-0 at Newbury in their opener, but in the corresponding fixture last year, Rhinos kicked a last-play penalty to down the Horde 34-31 in a cracker.
Further action on Sunday sees the Colts look to maintain their perfect OBB Division One record when they head to Bracknell (1.30pm).
Victory would set-up a winner-takes-all home game with unbeaten table-toppers Windsor on Sunday, March 9.
