The Canada Sevens wing is another to have joined from Cardiff Met University.
And the 5ft 9in speedster, who spent time at National One rivals Tonbridge Juddians last term, is pleased to be at Old Bath Road.
He said: “Everything I’d heard about Rams has been on show since I arrived.
“It’s a club with a clear target and I want to help take them there.
“There’s a reputation for developing young players and that’s something which was also very appealing. I’m so happy to be here.”
The 22-year-old, who weighs 86kg, underwent a career transformation while in Wales.
Originally a back row as a fresher, he caught the eye on the Sevens scene before switching to wing.
From there he played every BUCS Super Rugby Prem game last term.
Henry explained: “I won Player of the Season for the 6ths in my first year!
“But then I was playing for Samurai Sevens in 2024 and word got out to (Canada coach) Sean White.
“Mum (Jo) is from Kitchener which qualifies me, and I made my debut at the Singapore Sevens against New Zealand.
“It was an incredible experience.”
‘Rams feels the perfect place’
Henry began his career as a nine-year-old at Hove rugby club, taken along by dad Jeremy. He transitioned into the back row aged 12.
The paceman went to Cardinal Newman school in the same town before heading to university where he completed a degree in sports management.
Moving onto the next stage of his career, Henry was called up for a training camp by his nation’s 15-a-side-team for the first time last month.
And he said: “It was another great couple of weeks, and back in England, Rams feels the perfect place.
“I feel like I’m a decent finisher but also with my time in the back row I also like the defensive side, maybe grabbing a jackal out wide.
“Watching some of the games at OBR has also shown me the atmosphere the crowd bring, which is very important.
“At Uni I was lucky to play in front of some full houses, and having a big home fan base behind me is something I can’t wait to enjoy.”
