SECOND row Ryan Cozens has received his first full Canada call-up ahead of their game against Japan on Saturday.
The Cardiff Met University graduate, who joined Rams in the off-season, previously represented the country at Under 20s level.
But he is now in a 32-man squad for the Japan fixture plus the Pacific Nations Cup on the following two weekends.
The Japan contest in Niigata City is part of the hosts’ 100th anniversary celebrations, while Canada then take on Fiji in Osaka in the cup semi-final on September 12l.
The other teams in the competition are Japan and USA.
The final and third-place play-off are in Tokyo on Saturday, September 19.
