RAMS will host a first-team fixture under the Thursday Night Lights for the inaugural time as they welcome Oxford Harlequins to Old Bath Road for a bonus pre-season fixture (7.45pm) this week.

Having gone down 38-24 to Welsh Premiership side Aberavon in their first hit out of the season, Seb Reynolds’ men took a big step forward with a 47-24 victory at Taunton Titans on Saturday – and are now set to take on National Two East neighbours Quins.

Their Oxfordshire rivals are a team on the up, blasting their way to the Regional One Midlands title with two games to spare with two games to spare in the 2023/24 campaign before overcoming a difficult start to ensure survival with a 12^th-placed finish in their maiden effort at Level Four.

Entry for the game is free with food and drink available in what will hopefully be a cracking contest. Gates open at 6.30pm.
