CAPTAIN Pete Austin grabbed his first try of Army’s southern hemisphere tour as they completed their trip in style with a 54-26 success against Australian Defence Force.

Having beaten New Zealand Army and then fallen to defeat versus Republic of Fiji Military Force, the Red Shirts returned to winning ways with a fine win in Brisbane.

Joining Pete on the scoresheet were fly-half Jack Johnson with a brace, as well as Imi Qorowale, Rhys Roberts, Frank Kelly, Mikey McDonald and Senitiki Nayalo.

Johnson slotted five conversions with McDonald, Nayalo and Matt Blee adding one apiece to complete the scoring.
