Former first-team prop turned coach!

Year joined: 1995.

Role(s): Ex first-team prop, Titans manager, Senior squad coach.

Best rugby memory: As a player, at Havant when we won promotion up to National Two South.

Here at Rams, the promotion to National One – it was the culmination of a lot of planning and hard work.

Worst rugby memory: I don’t tend to dwell on them!

Favourite food: Thai.

Favourite drink: The first one after a win.

Favourite travel destination: Sydney, Australia.

Favourite Rams try: The team try against Henley at Old Bath Road, finished by Stevie Bryant.

Favourite ever try: There’s a Scott Gibbs try for the Lions where he side-stepped a couple of people – I always enjoyed his style of centre play.

Favourite ever player(s): Jonah Lomu was a classic, but I always liked Keith Wood as a fellow front-rower.

Favourite current player: James Baker.

Other hobbies: Family.

Favourite TV show: Schitt’s Creek.

Favourite musician: U2.

Favourite song: Desire by U2.

Favourite rugby ground(s): The Rec at Bath.

Second team: London Irish.

Favourite other sports: No!

One rule change you'd make in rugby: The 40/20 kicking rule I think would open up a bit of space on the pitch and make the game a bit more expansive.

Best thing about Rams RFC: Everyone says the Ramily and there’s no doubt about it.

I also enjoy the sense of purpose the club brings, and the camaraderie.
