Year joined: 1996 as a four-year old playing in the Minis.
Role: Skills coach, former first-team player.
Best rugby memory: There’s so many from the Minis and the Juniors, and lots of the guys still play across various teams at the club.
I’ll say winning a Minis tournament at Marlow and then being presented with a medal by Lawrence Dallaglio.
Worst rugby memory: Snapping my ACL at Chinnor.
Favourite food: Pizza.
Favourite drink: Guinness.
Favourite travel destination: Barbados.
Favourite Rams try: One from Roy Wilkinson in the Centaurs when we were down at Redruth 2nd XV.
There was still a big crowd there and Roy picked the ball up inside our 22 and belted it down the wing scoring a length-of-the-field try.
Favourite ever try: The one which sticks out the most is Jonah Lomu when he ran over Mike Catt.
Favourite ever player(s): Mils Muliaina.
Favourite current player: Andre Esterhuizen.
Other hobbies: Any sport!
Favourite TV show: Friends.
Favourite musician: Alan Stone.
Favourite song: Never Too Much by Luther Vandross.
Favourite rugby ground(s): Old Bath Road.
Second team: Centaurs.
Favourite other sports: Football, tennis, cricket, everything!
One rule change you'd make in rugby: A captain’s challenge.
It’s started to come in, especially in the southern hemisphere, but the idea of a challenge.
Aaron Smith did one recently and got it right, and if you know for sure there’s been a high shot or a forward pass, I think you should be able to say ‘can we check this?’
Best thing about Rams RFC: The smiles.
I’ve been here a long time despite a couple of stints out where either I’ve not been playing or I went to one other place, but there are just lots of smiles.
There are so many familiar faces and while it’s cliché to say the Ramily, it’s very much the case – new people get brought into the feel very quickly and that’s great.
